behind the logo
The Ulu, Inuktitut syllabics: ᐅᓗ, is an all-purpose knife traditionally used throughout all of Alaska. It is a nod to our ancestors wisdom and resourcefulness.
This name is from the Koyukon Dene language and our founders namesake. Deenaalee is a symbol of strength and resolution.
The carabiner is at the base of our logo because it connects us to the outdoors, to our harness, to safety and to each other.
